In this last-minute episode, Mike talks with Derek DuPont, Music Director for Columbus' Independents' Day Festival, co-founder of The Wild Path and the Columbus Songwriters Association.  They talk about the state of original music in the Columbus area, who's hot on the scene right now, and what happens when a band shows up for a gig and the bar closes before they can begin.  PLUS--and new, thrown-together segment called "Same Song OR Not Same Song" where we look at two songs that are disturbingly similar and try to decide if one ripped off the other.

In this episode, Mike and has a discussion with Sam Baird--The Wet Bandits' drummer--about his recent Nashville exploits, what it was like to be a 19-year-old in a band full of 30-somethings, and his new, super-expensive snare drum.  And, of course, the two discuss the Foo Fighters' 1997 release: The Colour and the Shape.  Also, they record the episode at Signature's in Gahanna, and drunkenness ensues.

In our very first episode (!!!), Wet Bandits guitarist, Mike, talks with Kyle Lewis--friend of The Wet Bandits and King of the Lancaster solo acoustic circuit.  They discuss being a rockstar with young children, Mike's shoddy hiring practices when putting together a band and, of course, The Goo Goo Dolls 1995 release, "A Boy Named Goo".
